While working this unpaid season long internship I learned how to update and maintain a large NBA Website. My main duties included the updating and creation of content for trailblazers.com. The pages that I updated were: schedule and stats, news photo gallery, player page, video news, and exclusive headlines. Knowledge of XML, dynamic photo galleries, podcasts, rss lists, and mass email was also briefly taught during the internship.

Oversaw and managed the Label Art Division (orders were placed to our service via laberart.com) located at WS Packaging Portland. Was responsible for many duties including job assembly, image-setting, plate making, and plate mounting for flexographic output on flexo machines. Worked a full 40 hours per week from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. in the morning so that orders placed by customers were filled and shipped the following day. We specialized in 12 hour turnaround service. Mastered usage of multiple RIP programs, color calibration software, Adobe Illustrator, and other FTP programs. Technical knowledge of mechanical machines (image-setters, plate-makers, and washout machines) was also gained.
